Very well structured book based on the facts and versions of Lord Ganesha, one of the most popular Hindu diety. Some were known facts and tales and many were unknown.The various aspects and influence of the elephant-headed god and its association with Indian Mythology, its connection with different gods and goddesses esp. Shiva and Shakti; its various forms and incarnations; its symbolism with spirituality, prosperity, wealth and material gains; its history varied and spread across various temples and literature; its gradual ascension to a main diety of worship; its influence and tales in religions like Buddhism, Jainism etc. to its transformation to countries like Cambodia, Tibet, Nepal, Burma, China, Mongolia and even Japan all these content made this book very interesting and informative to read.
